Usually, leaked information for games, movies or shows only give out part of the story. However, fans of "Resident Evil 7" who are datamining the back-end code found out vital information that allegedly mostly gives out the entire game.
According to Metro, the most curious thing about the information fans have gathered was the name "Albert." Fans of the franchise will likely link the name to the popular antagonist, Albert Wesker. However, many believe it refers to Albert's equipment and his gun.
Those who have explored the code found out a whole host that gave out everything about Albert. There are suggestive filenames like LastBossGetAlbert, as well as LastBossFinishGetGun. Apparently, there are a whole lot of other filenames that revealed different weapons that can be found throughout the game. Some enemies were even disclosed.
It could also be noted that "Resident Evil 7" will likely have different endings. According to industry talk, the datamining process found evidence of a "bad" and "good" ending. Fans can also expect four DLC packs coming. Although these packs aren't really big, they seemed to include survival modes and puzzle-mode chapters for the game. Then, again, fans believe that these are only additional content apart from the bigger expansions that are said to be added to the main story.
The extended leaked information aren't really given out, although a NeoGAF post seems to have broken down everything that could be seen in the game. In fact, there is also information as to what the player will do. If these are, indeed, found in the back, it could be enough to spoil the entire "Resident Evil 7" gameplay.
Nonetheless, "Resident Evil 7" will be out on January 2017. It will be released for consoles PlayStation 4, Xbox One and will be supported by PlayStation VR. Demos were also made available this December.
