"Super Mario Run" immediately became hit as soon as it emerged, with the many vintage fans hooked on the nostalgic title. Some players, however, need help unlocking the remainder of the team apart from the energetic man with a moustache.
Touch Arcade says that "Super Mario Run" will require some characters to be unlocked before being enjoyed further, such as Princess Peach. Simply put, the Princess will only be revealed once the players accomplish the whole game, given that she has been abducted by Bowser. She will then permit players to use her hovering skills, enabling players to hop through obstructions via tapping.
Toad, being the fastest character in the game, only asks players to link their My Nintendo Accounts to the game. It is also being looked at as a free reward in My Nintendo Rewards. Luigi, on the other hand, will have players build and finish his house in "Kingdom Mode" by acquiring 50 green toads and 150 purple toads from the Toad Rally. Luigi is the highest jumper in the title.
Yoshi can also be unlocked through certain acquisitions, most specifically 30 red toads and 30 green toads from the Toad Rally. The character can flutter for a brief time to collect coins that are hard to obtain. Lastly, Toadette is the character that might need players to first unlock Princess Peach -- or another method that obliges players to get 200 toads in red, blue, green, purple and yellow colors.
So far, the success of "Super Mario Run" is evident and the title is expected to continue legacy-wise along the way. The franchise's popularity is amplified further with the likes of "Super Mario Maker" and the ever-growing "Super Smash Bros."
