"Soul Calibur 6" may still be a long way from happening, but there are already apparent guesses on what could happen to it. Given that the franchise has been successful throughout the years, there is only moving forward when it comes to the possibilities the sixth title can offer.

The previous installment "Soul Calibur V" has been around for over four years, leaving fans craving for more from the Bandai Namco franchise. However, there seems to be an indication that the wait will have to be a little longer.

According to some reports on SoulCalibur, speculations on the characters that will enter the field of "Soul Calibur 6" include the return of Ezio Auditore, Lloyd Irving and Starkiller. Sophitia, Taki, Olcadan and Rock, as well as Yun-Seong and Setsuka, could also come back. The interesting parts are the tendencies of other non-Bandai Namco entities to be involved, such as the ever-popular Kratos from the "God of War" franchise.

"Soul Calibur 6" is also anticipated to have Naruto join, especially as he is part of the Bandai Namco family. Some also believe that certain characters will be meant for the console version instead and not necessarily for the arcade version. Some say that the game will go alongside "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" when it releases on the console. Other speculations note the game being launched for the 20th anniversary of the franchise.

It can be recalled that the likes of "Star Wars" and the relative "Tekken" characters have taken part in the series before. So far, fans can only hold on to speculations about "Soul Calibur 6" before Bandai Namco officially announces anything in relation to the sixth installment. It can also be justified that the company has its attention trained on other projects, such as the console version of "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution."
