"Pokemon Go" is showing no signs of slowing down as updates, bug fixes and features continue to be released into the community. Now that the holidays are here, there is only one way for the title to lead and that is to ride the Christmas wave.

During the Halloween event in November, "Pokemon Go" fans were treated to an abundance of creatures to blend in with the season. Recently, Niantic tied up with Starbucks to create more viable PokeStops. It also announced new second generation creatures.

Amazon says that "Pokemon Go" will have the rest of the second generation creatures out soon, but players will have to enjoy those already confirmed for now. One of the most adorable is the festive-designed Pikachu, which will be available until December 29. More importantly, the creature can be evolved into a Raichu while carrying the said embellishments. All that players have to do is give Pikachu at least 50 candies.

Fans will also be pleased to know that "Pokemon Go" will still allow players to catch both Pikachu and Raichu and keeping them both. For those who may wonder if anything changed with the way that new eggs are being acquired, there is no reason to fret as everything's still the same.

"Pokemon Go" has rocketed back to the top spot despite the mishaps that have befallen the title in the past months. Tracking systems, new updates and the much-awaited second generation releases have all fallen into place. The improvements seem to have made the players who turned their back now return to the augmented reality masterpiece. So far, Niantic has been addressed their biggest identified issues and fans are being given their requests one step at a time.
