"Teen Wolf" is in its final season. However, it is reportedly not going out with the bang it deserves as ratings drop without Dylan O'Brien. Meanwhile, the actor is already filming "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" after his injury which happened on the same set.
According to a report, despite the best efforts of writers and cast, ratings without Dylan O'Brien have fallen significantly to less than half the viewers from the previous seasons.
Speaking of O'Brien's absence, his co-star Tyler Posey said he misses O'Brien since his injury as he is still not back to his role as Stiles. He told Hollywood Life just how close he and O'Brien are.
"Man, it's weird. It is definitely weird. Because Dylan[O'Brien] and I have been literally the only two dudes since the very beginning," Posey said. "It has been me and him, me and him, me and him, me and him! Always, every single day, we would have the same routine. We are the same dude. So we really relate with one another. We fell in love with one another."
Tyler Posey and Dylan O'Brien have reportedly bonded through the five seasons of inseparable brotherhood on the "Teen Wolf" set. Posey continued to his lament about his co-star and friend's absence.
"Every time we were on the set we would help each other with stress, and everything that comes with filming a TV show. And without him there I looked around at one point and I was filming a scene and everyone that was in the scene with me was new and I felt like this veteran and I was like, 'I really miss Dylan!" he further added.
Meanwhile, Dylan O'Brien will return to filming in February 2017 for his movie The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure". It can be recalled that the production was postponed indefinitely after the actor got into a serious injury on set.
Dylan O'Brien's "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 5 will air on December 13 on MTV, while his movie "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" premieres in theaters on Jan. 12, 2018.
