While it has been confirmed that "Teen Wolf" will come to an end with its upcoming season, fans are teased by showrunner Jeff Davis about Dylan O'Brien's character, Stiles Stilinski, after coming back from his injury.

Showrunner Davis revealed that O'Brien will officially come back for "Teen Wolf" Season 6 despite his injury from the accident while working on "Maze Runner: The Death Cure."

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor will play an important part in the upcoming finale season of the MTV series. Davis shared that the mystery in the upcoming installment will revolve around O'Brien's character, Stiles.

"Stiles is a big part of the season because a lot of this season's mystery revolves around him," Davis says. "We're going to see just what Stiles' friendship means to Scott, Lydia, and Malia. We're going to see why exactly he's Scott's best friend, what it means that he's Malia's human anchor, and what his will-they-or-won't-they relationship is with Lydia."

Moreover, showrunner Jeff Davis also teased some other important events to happen in the finale season.

Showrunner Jeff Davis confirmed the news at San Diego Comic Con, saying: "I know we're sad about it and it's bittersweet but we're so happy to be able to come to Comic Con and share it with you guys."

"They're on the verge of graduation and it's a big thing for them. It's especially a big thing for Scott who is worried about how he can leave Beacon Hills," the showrunner added.

Meanwhile, Dylan O'Brien's co-star J.R. Bourne assured fans on O'Brien's condition.

"He's doing great. I've tried to let him have his time, but I reached out through text just to let him know that he's in my thoughts. But as far as I know, he's doing well," the actor shared.

For now, fans are excited for Dylan O'Brien's comeback on "Teen Wolf" sixth and final season which is slated to be released on November 15.
