Dylan O'Brien is definitely back in the final season of "Teen Wolf," but fans remain curious as to what extent. Executive Producer Jeff Davis teased about the actor's role in the MTV teen series.
Despite suffering injuries while filming "Maze Runner: The Death Cure," the actor will still play a crucial role when the show returns this fall and Entertainment Weekly exclusively revealed that Dylan O'Brien will appear in sixth season for"Teen Wolf".
However, as reported because he had so many movies in the works (Deepwater Horizon, American Assassin, Maze Runner: The Death Cure), and suffered a really bad injury on set earlier this year, his screen time may be less than usual.
"Teen Wolf" showrunner Jeff Davis assures EW that Stiles' role might be more important than ever.
"We approached this season with the knowledge that we'd have limited access to Dylan O'Brien because of his burgeoning movie career, and thinking, 'If this is the last 20 episodes of "Teen Wolf", how do we give everyone a really big send-off?'" executive producer Jeff Davis told TVLine.com.
"We came up with this story that creates this big mystery about Stiles and the memory of Stiles," the exec produces teased.
To recall, Davis has already announced that Dylan O'Brien's character, stiles will still be so much part on the upcoming MTV teen series finale.
"Stiles is a big part of the season because a lot of this season's mystery revolves around him," Davis says. "We're going to see just what Stiles' friendship means to Scott, Lydia, and Malia. We're going to see why exactly he's Scott's best friend, what it means that he's Malia's human anchor, and what his will-they-or-won't-they relationship is with Lydia."
Dylan O'Brien's "Teen Wolf"'s final season premieres November 15 at 9/8c on MTV.
