Dylan O'Brien's fans were relieved after the actor is reportedly recovering from the injury he sustained during the set of "Maze Runner: The Death March" last March. Despite his situation, O'Brien is officially back at "Teen Wolf" season 6, however, he is rumored to be asking for less action scenes.
To recall, Dylan O'Brien's "Teen Wolf" role was held for him indefinitely following his near death experience.
According to the producer of O'Brien's movie, "American Assassin", the actor almost died.
"He's all better. It was more than disconcerting. I never saw him in his worst form, but it was described to me. It was really scary. He came close to dying, I'm pretty sure. It was enough to shake your core," Bonaventura said.
Reports added that the actor may file legal action against Fox for "Maze Runner" injuries however, Dylan O'Brien have yet to confirm these speculations.
Despite suffering from injuries, the 25-year-old actor will still be back on "Teen Wolf" season 6 according to the showrunner Jeff Davis.
"Stiles is a big part of the season because a lot of this season's mystery revolves around him," Davis said. "
"When we were going into discussing this season, knowing that Dylan O'Brien had a big movie he was going off to do, we wanted to make sure that Stiles was going to be a very important part of Teen Wolf 6A," Davis added.
"We're going to see just what Stiles' friendship means to Scott, Lydia, and Malia. We're going to see why exactly he's Scott's best friend, what it means that he's Malia's human anchor, and what his will-they-or-won't-they relationship is with Lydia," Davis added not wanting to reveal more info.
While speculations surface that the actor might be hoping to change a few things about "Teen Wolf" and is asking for less action scenes with his characters. The staff of the supernatural teen drama series have not yet confirmed about it.
"Teen Wolf" sixth and final season is set to return this fall with Dylan O'Brien's Stiles Stilinski on MTV.
