Following the release of one of the most requested updates for "Grand Theft Auto V," the Bikers DLC, fans are now pushing yet another highly sought addition to the game, "Tuners and Outlaws."
The "Tuners and Outlaws" DLC started out as a fan-made video on Youtube. In the mock DLC update trailer, "GTA V" gamers get to play the role of the police, a feature that is highly requested by fans.
Now after the success of the petition for the Bikers DLC, fans are now raising another petition for "Tuners and Outlaws," which has now reached over 45,000 signatures on iPetitions.com.
"For over three years since the release of 'GTA Online', car enthusiasts have worked around the DNA of Grand Theft Auto's sandbox to create a community of like-minded tuners and street racers despite the lack of any set in stone platform to do so," the petition starter wrote on the site. "This is where Tuners and Outlaws steps in."
"Each player not registered as police has a bounty," the petition went on, explaining how the Police feature could work in "GTA V" in the future. "This bounty works on a cycle and refreshes every 24 hours that starts to countdown from the moment they first enter an online session."
Players have also suggested other features such as exciting police and suspect chases, car meets, and more. There is also the addition of manual transmission, as well as new race modes, like drag racing.
Rockstar has announced the release of "GTA V" Bikers DLC earlier this month, much to the excitement of the fans. The developer also encouraged players to send in their suggestions so they can look over them.
"A friendly reminder that for all such suggestions, please send your input to the official feedback address at GTAOnline@rockstargames.com," Rockstar wrote in the comments. "That's where the game team actively consult direct player suggestions for consideration and it's the only place to be sure your input is being heard by the games development team."
Will Rockstar again heed the request of many players for a "GTA V" Tuners and Outlaws DLC? Stay tuned for more updates.
