Given that the iPad Pro 12.9 was launched in September 2015, it's unsurprising that Apple fans are already excited for the upcoming release of iPad Pro 2.
According to reports, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo noted that the Cupertino-based tech giant is thinking about releasing the new tablet early next year in three variations. This include a brand new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, a budget 9.7-inch iPad, and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2.
"If the iPad comes in a larger size, such as a 10.5" model, we believe it will be helpful to bid for tenders within the commercial and education markets. As a result, we expect Apple to launch a 10.5" iPad Pro in 2017," Kuo noted based on Macrumors report.
In addition, Kuo said that the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 and 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which will be released in 2017, will adopt the A10X processor with TSMC being the sole supplier using 10nm process technology, while the lowcost 9.7-icnh model may adopt the A9X processor still supplied by TSMC.
Reports also claim that the iPad will be improved in terms of faster screen zooming, scrolling, and panning. Furthermore, few rumors claimed that the iPad Pro 2 on its higher end variants will most likely cost about $799.
There will be a chance that the iPad Pro 2 will be compatible with the Apple Pencil, further reports added. Moreover, it was speculated that this new Apple tablet will likely come in Rose Gold, the color variant available to most recent Apple latest products.
Meanwhile, additional reports claimed that the hottest iPad Pro 2 specs rumors include water resistance. It will also have a slimmer and lighter build with the absence of the standard 3.5mm headphone port.
