Amid the absence of any confirmation from Sony that the PS4 Slim in indeed on its way, a new video has appeared to have confirmed the rumors.

For quite a while now, there have been speculations that the Japanese tech giant is developing a slimmer, upgraded version of the PS4. What could be the enhancements that it will boast of?

On Friday, Eurogamer posted a video on YouTube which reportedly validated the existence of PS4 Slim.

"In our bid to confirm the veracity of the images that leaked online last night, Digital Foundry's Richard Leadbetter visited the person who claimed to have bought the console from Gumtree," the tech site explained." This video shows the console booting up."

With its matte finish, a number of fans have shared their interest to buy one once the gaming console is already available in the market.

"Opinions. Personally,I find its design incredibly slick and the best console design since the GameCube," follower Joel Monteiro commented on the post.

However, there are also some who are skeptical about the better things that PS4 Slim will be offering.

"who cares its just a slim ps4 its the same s*** [sic]," Hussar16 wrote.

While some are arguing if it is indeed a better version of its predecessor, Neurogadget reported that some previously released speculations about the upcoming console may not hold true.

Accordingly, it seems unlikely that the PS4 Slim would boast of a VR support considering that Sony is coming out with PS4 Neo which is sure to carry said feature.

It was further noted that those who have been saying that the Neo would be a better option than the Slim, the tech site emphasized that this could not be true.

It was hinted that since the Neo variant is considered to be the top-of-the-line in the gaming console line of Sony, it appears impossible that that PS4 Slim would be a better choice.
