The first "Red Dead Redemption" game was wildly popular that it spawned a zombie-themed DLC with a dedicated campaign. Should "Red Dead Redemption 2" follow suit?

Among a number of list of features that needs to be included in the next "Red Dead" game, the expansion "Undead Nightmare" always gets included. Up to this date, fans still find the DLC quite astonishing and it was even named among the best DLC of the year on its original release date on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

"Undead Nightmare" is an expansion pack to the original "Red Dead Redemption" game. It is a standalone episode with its own storyline. Finishing the game may be required to fully understand what's going on with the story and to prevent potential spoilers.

As per IGN's review of the expansion, "Undead Nightmare" brought a light-hearted feeling to the original "Red Dead Redemption." Fans see that this will have the same effect to "Red Dead Redemption 2" once it gets released and is hoping for an even more immersive implementation.

The review even sees the expansion as a potential standalone game on its own with very intricate features that isn't available with the actual base story of the game. Fans are looking forward for a lengthier campaign and more feature-packed missions.

Rockstar is known to dish out great expansion content. This has been evident with its previous works on "GTA IV" expansions like "Ballad of Gay Tony" and "The Lost and Damned," which both felt an entirely new games on their own despite being a DLC.

Fans still have no clue whether "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be seeing the light of the day anytime soon. A number of theories even pointed out that it would also be unlikely to be announced with the upcoming PlayStation Meeting due to Rockstar's habit of releasing games.

Hopefully, Rockstar will shed a bit of light for fans regarding "Red Dead Redemption 2" and get the zombie treatment like the first one. Only time can tell.
