The lack of inventory slots is always a pain in any type of game, and 'No Man's Sky' is no different.

Here are a few tips and tricks we have gathered to help you expand your inventory slots and let you take all the loot home.

Get A Lot Of Units

Units are of utmost importance in "No Man's Sky," as it is essential for all the upgrades you will be making in the game, and that includes your inventory space.

There are tons of ways to get rich quick in the game, which we have detailed in a separate guide.

Once you've gotten your units, we then need to upgrade your important items.

Upgrade The Exosuit

Game Rant suggests that the easiest way to expand inventory is to upgrade your Exosuit. The site has a more detailed explanation on how to upgrade your suit, but basically, suit upgrades can be more likely obtained in crashed escape pods or small landing ships with only one entrance.

These structures can be easily spotted while flying over the surface of the planet, as they are slightly elevated above the ground.

Locked doors which require an Atlas Pass to unlock will most likely hold a suit upgrade as well. Atlas Passes can be obtained from main quests, and will be earned as the game progresses.

Get A 48-Slot Ship Quickly

Another inventory expansion method is to max out your ship, and there's an easier way of doing it, according to VG 24/7. Roaming around space, you'll chance upon crashed ships that will always have either more or less inventory space than you do.

To find crashed ships in the game, look for a map beacon with an orange light. Use yout Bypass Chip on the beacon and select Transmission Tower. Solving the sequence puzzle successfully earns you a map with a crashed ship marked on it.

If you get it wrong, however, your chance will be used up and you won't be able to solve the puzzle again.

Upgrade Your Multitool

Multitool upgrades are similar to Exosuit upgrades, although you would need to look for "advanced life form" instead. Upgrading the multitool would involve a whole lot of units, so you need to stock up on some cash before heading out and doing your upgrades.
