With the epic battle between Ichigo Kurosaki and Yhwach behind, there is only one chapter left in Tite Kubo's "Bleach" manga. Now, several spoilers have already hinted a portion of the things that fans will get to see in the eagerly anticipated finale.
"Bleach" Chapter 685 Recap
Ten years after the defeat of Yhwach, the penultimate episode saw the rebuilding of Soul Society with Shunsui Kyōraku reminiscing how fast the years have passed by, and how they were able to accomplish the rebuilding process by themselves.
Gotei 13's captains and lieutenants gathered for the promotion of the newest captain - Rukia Kuchiki. However, Vice-President of the Shinigami Research and Development Institute (SRDI), Akon, saw some peculiar readings on the scanners, affirming that they seem to be indistinguishable to ones Yhwach's Reiatsu transmitted ten years prior.
"Bleach" Chapter 686 Spoilers
With this, spoilers suggest that Yhwach might have gotten away from Ichigo's powerful Getsuga Tensho by transporting himself to the future. It is said that "Bleach" chapter 686 will concentrate on Ichigo seeking after Yhwach in the future, where he will witness a serene Soul Society.
Hence, Ichigo will be roused to bring back the latter to the present time before executing him unequivocally.
Other predictions by HOF Mag suggests that Isshin Kurosaki will ask his son, Ichigo, to come and visit the Soul Society. However, the latter denies his father's request, stating that he would not like to go unless he has a justifiable reason.
Hoping to change Ichigo mind, Isshin will presumably tell his son that Rukia is now a captain. With this, Ichigo will round up the team - Uryuu, Inoue, and Chad - to personally congratulate Rukia.
It is predicted that a slew of new Gotei 13's members will be introduced in the upcoming chapter, as they choose whether Ichigo should go back to his normal life or become the new leader of the Shinigami.
While nothing is incomprehensible, the spoilers and prediction should be taken with a pinch of salt. "Bleach" chapter 686 will air on Aug. 22.
