Nintendo NX has one of the most long-awaited releases from the video game industry. Stating "long" may even be an understatement, but Nintendo confirmed, once more, that NX is coming along March 2017 with the Quality of Life concept will be included.

Segment Text reported that Nintendo made another clarification about the actual release date of Nintendo NX. Despite the fact that NX was nowhere to be seen during the last E3, sources said that the company will reveal more details about the release soon.

It could be remembered, however, that even before we came up with Nintendo "NX," there was the "Quality of Life" that was first announced in January 2014. February of this year, Gamespot even reported that it is unlikely that we'll get to see what QOL is about.

That belief changed when Pixart made an announcement (via Digitimes) about including a heart monitor within Nintendo NX. It does monitor the players' heart rate, which pretty much coincides with QOL's key concept.

Nintendo's Wii was popular with its fitness-inspired games like "Wii-Fit" and other third party games that focused on players' physical involvement. A heart monitor could be one big step to integrating the QOL function and we may expect more as the development progresses.

Quality of Life was the late president, Satoru Iwata's initiative following the success that Wii managed to get. Wii was very popular during its time and integration of movement-heavy games were almost a norm. Even "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" got physical with having players swing their Wii-motes like swords.

It is very noticeable that even "Pokémon Go" had players going outside and moving a lot. It is a healthy change of pace from the usual gaming routine of sitting in a corner or in front of the T.V.

With this in mind, it could be possible that Nintendo, once more, will bring in more casual gamers like how the Wii did extremely well in its time.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot even agreed with the thought in a conference call via IGN.

"It's really great and it should help the industry continue to grow, particularly by bringing more casual players back into the console gaming fold." Yves told IGN.

Hopefully, Nintendo NX will not share the same reception that Wii-U had. It could have been bad timing, but we'll find out later.
