The Windows Phone 8 (WP8)-powered Nokia Lumia 925 is now available on AT&T for $99.99 on a standard two-year agreement.

The Nokia Lumia 925 first made its debut back in May as a T-Mobile exclusive. A few months later, at the end of August, AT&T announced that it would start taking pre-orders for the handset on Aug. 28 and make it available on Sept. 13.

"The Nokia Lumia 925 makes a great addition to our growing portfolio," AT&T Senior VP Jeff Bradley said back in August, when announcing the carrier's plans to add the smartphone to its portfolio.

"AT&T has sold more Windows Phones than any other U.S. carrier and the Nokia Lumia 925 makes a great addition to our growing portfolio," added Bradley at the time. "It packs the outstanding camera performance Nokia is known for with an affordable price point that makes it a solid deal for anyone in the market for a new smartphone."

AT&T is currently offering only the black version of the Nokia Lumia 925, but may later add the smartphone's other color options - white and gray. As previously mentioned, the WP8 handset is available from AT&T for $99.99 on a two-year contract, but the carrier is also offering the smartphone for $429.99 outright for customers who prefer not to commit to a lengthy agreement.

For those unfamiliar with the smartphone's specs, the Lumia 925 sports a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA touchscreen display with curved Gorilla Glass 2, a dual-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 16GB of internal storage and a 2,000 mAh battery.

With the addition of the Nokia Lumia 920 to its offerings, AT&T is now the only U.S. carrier to have three high-end Lumia smartphones in its Windows Phone 8 lineup. The other two WP8 smartphones AT&T has to offer are the Nokia Lumia 920 and the 41-megapixel Lumia 1020.

The Nokia Lumia 925 is considered a minor upgrade compared to the Lumia 920, but it does come as the only Nokia Lumia smartphone to boast an aluminum body. All other Lumia smartphones, including the Lumia 920 and Lumia 1020, have a polycarbonate chassis.
