Specifications of the Nokia Lumia 928, otherwise known as the Catwalk, has been leaked on Twitter by Italian mobile personality, Flavio. If what Flavio is saying turns out to be legitimate, the device won't put too much weight on your pocket compared to the Lumia 920, and that's a good thing.

According to Flavio, the Lumia 928 sports a thinner and lighter frame at 129x71 8.4mm and 132g. This makes the handset 50g lighter than the heavy 185g Lumia 920, and at 8.4mm, the device comes off as the thinnest Lumia to ever escape the Nokia factory. It is a clear sign that Nokia is listening to critics, but the question remains, would this minor upgrade be enough?

Everything else apart from the weight and thinness are the same, so don't be expecting the CatWalk to have an upgraded camera or some other cool PureView camera features not found on the Lumia 920. The Lumia 928 is just a minor refresh, one that could sway consumers to purchase a Windows Phone 8 handset.

More information from Flavio claims the Catwalk will launch alongside the Nokia EOS, a Lumia version with a 41-megapixel camera similar to the Nokia 808 PureView with improved Optical Image Stabilization and low-light performance.

Recent rumors of the Lumia 928 claims the device will come exclusive to Verizon Wireless in the United States. However, it is not certain if the device would make its presence felt on other carriers in the U.S. or around the world for that matter.

Both the Lumia 928 and the Nokia EOS, are expected to launch very soon, with a release date set for the end of June or early July. These handsets will have a tough time in the smartphone marketplace, as by then, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One would have already been released.
