Earlier this week, we reported on the coming of the Nokia Lumia 928 to Verizon Wireless, and now we have a few more details that seem to confirm the availability of the handset.

According to nokia-lumia-928 blog, the Lumia 928 set to launch on Verizon will arrive in four different color options: Cyan, Red, White and Black. These are similar color options available with the Lumia 920, which launched last year exclusively on AT&T in the U.S.

As of now, there is no way of telling if the source information is correct. A wait and see approach will have to be taken; hopefully either Nokia or Verizon will have something to say about the handset leading up to the yet-to-be announced launch date.

Recently, TheNokiaBlog posted sample images taken via the Lumia 928 on its blog. First inspection suggests the device could very well take better pictures compared to the Lumia 920, or it could be that our eyes are playing tricks on us, which is highly possible.

The Lumia 928 is a device rumored to come packed with an aluminum design that allows the handset to be much thinner and lighter compared to the Lumia 920. The design is also very similar to the recently announced Lumia 720 with its newfound square design. It has a much upgraded 8.7 megapixel PureView camera with Xenon and LED flash combination, and the camera is also smaller than the one found in the Lumia 920.

The overall specifications are similar to the Lumia 920. The amount of RAM, screen size and type, and CPU capabilities scream Lumia 920. Expect the Lumia 928 to launch exclusively on Verizon Wireless come April 1 for an unannounced price.
