Despite its clearly impressive specs, the LG G5 can't escape rivalry.

While there are numerous opponents of the LG G5 in the market, here is a snappy comparison of the Android phone with the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL.

The Lumia 950 XL touts a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 and a pixel density of 518 ppi. The G5 has a comparatively smaller 5.3-inch IPS LCD display and packs in the same resolution as the Lumia 950 XL. However, the pixel thickness of the LG G5 is 554 ppi, higher than the Microsoft flagship.

The Lumia 950 XL includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor at 2 GHz and 3 GB of RAM. The G5 has the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor at 2.2 GHz and 4 GB RAM, which is required to offer a much faster response in contrast with the Lumia 950 XL.

Both the gadgets have 32GB of internal storage. The LG G5 and the Lumia 950 XL have a card opening to expand their memory.

The LG G5 has a 2,800 mAh battery in contrast with the 3,340 mAh battery found on the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL. Both offer removable batteries.

The LG G5 does not have a remote charging feature, but the Microsoft gadget underpins Qi remote charging.

The LG G5 has a 16-megapixel (f/1.8) back camera and an 8-megapixel (f/2.4) front camera.

The Lumia 950 XL is outfitted with a 20-megapixel (f/1.9) back camera and a 5-megapixel (f/2.4) front camera. With Carl Zeiss optics, the Lumia, like most of the time, hoists the flag here.

Both of these handsets have optical image adjustment stabilization (OIS) which lets the users shoot pictures in a better quality.

The Lumia is accessible in highly contrasting colors. On the other hand, the LG is out in four colors - Titan, Pink, Gold, and Silver.
