The Consumers Electronics Show unveiled a plethora of interesting consumer gadgets last January. Several unprecedented devices made their way to the event. Notable gadgets include a three display gaming laptop from Razer and LG's super UHD TV.

However, along the halls of the Consumer Electronics Show was a mysterious smartwatch. The Misfit Vapor isn't a copycat to existing wearables like the Apple Watch and the Samsung Gear. Its intricate sporty design makes it a stand-out among existing smartwatches.

According to Phone Arena, it isn't long before tech geeks can actually get the device. Misfit recently announced the smartwatch's availability after appearing in Baselworld 2017.

The Vapor can actually make it big in the global smartwatch market. Luxury watchmakers have openly announced their interests for making their own smartwatch line. Given the circumstances, the following luxury wearables could cost more than a smartphone.

Interestingly, despite the Vapor's luxurious design, it's actually one of the cheapest smartwatches. Misfit's wearable will retail for $199, way cheaper than the Apple Watch that costs $349 for the 38mm model. The bigger 45mm variant costs even more at $399.

The Vapor features a 44mm body and a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED 326ppi display. According to Misfit, the smartwatch can run up two days on a single charge. It's not likely that a wearable can last that long. Most especially if you look at the Apple Watch that struggles to finish the day on a single charge.

If this is true, it could be one of the cheapest and most efficient smartwatches available in the market. Amid earlier reports, the smartphone will also run on Android 2.0.

The Vapor will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor along with 4GB of storage. Other features include a built-in GPS and WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately, it does not have NTC support. It does come with a heart rate sensor, altimeter, accelerometer and, a gyroscope.
