Razer, the maker of top of the line gaming laptops such as the 12.5-inch Blade Stealth has recently unveiled its latest Power Bank, a 12,800mAh external battery, which is designed mainly for laptops. This is apparently to partner Razer's very own portables, which can extend the battery life of the Blade Stealth of up to 15 hours and this is certainly helpful for those who are on the road and needs digital entertainment or even for work.
The Razer Power Bank can also work with other laptops for as long as it's USB-C powered, according to Engadget. It sports dual USB-A ports so users would be able to charge up to three mobile devices all together and the fast charge feature can provide at least six hours of the Blade Stealth's battery life and only needs two hours charging time.
Moreover, the Razer Power Bank also sports an Intelligent Device Detection to detect the kind of device that's being plugged to it and no unnecessary power is consumed. Reports say that it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, which charges four times faster compared to the standard charging for all mobile devices that are compatible with it.
The Razer Power Bank is (of course) heavier and thicker compared to the conventional power banks but considering its capacity, it is quite understandable. It costs $150 or £170, which is obviously a little pricey compared to other higher-capacity power banks such as the Mophie's Powerstation XXL although most of those are not really designed for charging laptop and mobile device at the same time.
The logo-emblazoned aluminum body of the Razer Power Bank is certainly worth the money to spend especially for all Razer fans that are particular to have the looks of their gadgets coordinated. The Razer Power Bank becomes available in plain, ole black color in March via Razer's online store in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, France and Germany.
