Microsoft has already confirmed that its highly-anticipated Surface Pro tablet will release in February this year. If you want to grab your Surface Pro on the release date (Feb. 9) then head to your nearest Microsoft Store to get a reservation card to guarantee your tablet on the date of release itself.

Previously, Microsoft gave out reservation cards for its Surface RT tablet launched in October last year. Now the company is doing the same for the Surface Pro tablet, which is slated to release on Feb. 9.

To get a Surface Pro reservation card you have to visit a brick-and-mortar Microsoft Store. The reservation card guarantees you a Surface Pro on the day of release itself, provided you show up before noon on Feb. 9.

"Your New Surface Has Been Reserved" says the front of the reservation card. The back of the reservation card confirms Feb. 9 and the Microsoft Store details where the Surface Pro can be purchased, and says "Congratulations, the new Surface Pro is almost yours. This pass reserves a brand new Surface just for you. Bring this pass to the Microsoft retail store on the day shown above. Your Surface will be ready for you to purchase."

The Surface Pro has a starting price tag of $899. Microsoft is also offering a pressure sensitive stylus pen with the tablet, which may give stiff competition to Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.

The Surface Pro runs the full version of Windows 8, which means it will be able to support both legacy desktop as well as Windows 8 apps.

The Surface Pro is packed with top-end hardware specifications and, not surprisingly, commands a top price when compared to other tablets available in the market.
