Dell is offering its latest convertible hybrid laptop in the market. The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 offers more functions, superb features, and impressive specs.
Dell transformed the popular Dell XPS 13 laptop and integrated a removable 360-degree fulcrum between the body and the screen. The result is the all-new Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop. This latest hybrid laptop from Dell comes with a thinner body compared to its laptop variant. It weighs 1.24 kg way lighter than the touchscreen version. Trusted Review noted that the hinge that is essential to the device contributed to its weight.
The Dell XPS 13 2-in1 hybrid laptop utilizes the carbon fiber composite on the palm rest of the device. In addition, it has slim bezels creating an illusion of a bigger Gorilla Glass-coated screen. Apart from those, the device utilizes two USB-C ports which are for charging and to back the full speed Thunderbolt 3.
The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop runs on 7th-gen Intel Kaby Lake Core i5-7Y54 processor. It has a 4GB RAM, an Intel HD GPU, and 128GB of a solid-state drive. Benchmark tests claim that this latest hybrid laptop has 15 hours of battery life. However, Venture Beat noted in their report that the device can only withstand an average of five hours. A pale comparison to its laptop version that can last up to 22 hours.
The entry-level price of The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop is priced at $1,000. The price is $200 higher than the base model Dell XPS 13. On the other hand, the variant that comes with Corei7, 8GB RAM and 256 GB od SSD is priced at $1,300. The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid laptop was launched at the CES 2017. The debut earned the device praises and interests from tech enthusiasts.
