Vinyl records are making a comeback, much like retro gaming. Classic turntables are being modernized but basically just recreations of the old ones. However, this doesn't mean it can't bring new innovations to the technology. The LOVE record player is a futuristic-looking turntable that plays old vinyl records.

According to Slash Gear, LOVE is not actually a turntable, instead its device that stays stationary on top of the vinyl base. The head of the device then moves as it plays music. Despite its appearance, LOVE still uses the same needle that traditional turntables use. This allows LOVE to reproduce the same quality of music that is stored on the vinyl, much like a conventional turntable. It can also play records of any size as the stylus automatically adjusts.

As any modern devices today, LOVE can also be controlled by your smartphone, which allows you to adjust the volume, skip tracks, play or stop the music. The record player itself has its own controls for doing the same.

The device has no room for wire audio output thus an external wireless speaker needs to be used. It only uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to connect to a speaker which is ideal for wireless speakers and headsets. It comes with a Bluetooth audio receiver that you can simply plug and play to any speaker.

LOVE has raised more than ten times its $50,000 funding goal on Kickstarter due to the popularity of turntables. The device will cost you $329 for one or $598 for two.
