A number of "Pokemon GO" players have discovered a glitch in the game that allows trainers to hatch eggs without obtaining the required distance for egg hatching. According to reports, a number of trainers have already taken advantage of the glitch in order to easily hatch Pokemon eggs.
The introduction of the recent "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 update has reignited the interest of the players of the hit augmented reality mobile game. With the addition of 80 more pocket monsters, trainers will again have to catch a few more to complete the goal of catching all Pokemon.
One of the best ways to catch all Pokemon is through egg hatching. This method, however, is quite daunting as players are required to walk a certain distance to hatch a particular egg.
However, a number of players are reporting that a new "Pokemon GO" glitch has been discovered with the recent update. The glitch isn't really that new as players have already noticed it before, but the "Pokemon GO" glitch that allows players to hatch "Pokemon GO" eggs without walking seem to be more persistent now.
The glitch that allows players to hatch "Pokemon GO" eggs without walking is referred to as GPS drift. This glitch is basically caused by inaccurate GPS readings, which is then translated by the game as an in-game movement.
It was reported back then that a new "Pokemon GO" system update has fixed this glitch. However, it seems that the new "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 update has once again disrupted the GPS system and made the GPS drift even worse.
A Reddit thread is already packed with reports of trainers boasting of being able to hatch "Pokemon GO" eggs without walking. The trick, as all of them have stated, is to take advantage of the GPS drift.
With the increasing reports of trainers being able to hatch "Pokemon GO" eggs without walking, Niantic may once again give its GPS system an update. But before that update comes, trainers can still exploit the glitch.
