A new NES Classic Edition hack has surfaced online. This time, the hack will not only increase the number of games playable on the Nintendo game console but will also allow video game fans to play Sega Genesis and Game Boy Games on their NES Classic.
According to WWG, a hacker known as Madmonkey was able to compile a version of RetroArch that will allow video game players to install games from different kinds of video game consoles. Now, all that can be played with RetroArch can already be played with the Nintendo NES Classic Edition.
A previous NES Classic hack allowed video game fans to extend the collection of games offered in the Nintendo video game console. The video company limited the number of games offered in the NES Classic edition to 30.
According to Forbes, the new NES Classic Edition hack allows video game fans to install games from different consoles and play it on the NES. As of this moment, the consoles supported are the Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, SNES and Sega Genesis.
Impressive as it seems, the MadMonkey RetroArch NES Classic Edition hack is not all good. Doing the hack may void the Nintendo warranty and may even cause the NES classic to no longer function at all.
