Ubisoft gave avid gamers who have been clamoring for its upcoming action fighting game, "For Honor," a brief glimpse of some combat in the form of an action-packed launch trailer just ahead of the game's Feb. 14 launch.
Aside from that, the game publisher also released a new video that throws light upon the game's progression as well as customization features. Let's delve into some guaranteed features:
Unique Warriors
Players can opt to pick their favorite warrior from a slew of exceptional heroes that comprises brutal Samurai, cold-blooded Vikings, and savage Knights. Each hero boasts an array of personalized weapon set and combat style. Players can customize every aspect of their warrior such weapon, helmet, shoulders, and chest.
Memorable Story Campaign
This is a tale of warriors in which players will be representing heroes of all three clans, making a considerable difference in huge battles, locking horns with violent bosses in fierce single combat and taking castles and fortresses by storm. In order to ensure the survival of their people and counter the plans of the deadly warlord, Apollyon, players will need to utilize both their wits as well as skills, according to PlayStationLifestyle.
Groundbreaking Multiplayer
This mode is designed to test players' skill. It's no secret that coordination and communication with comrades amidst battle plays a vital role in cementing the victory.
Ingenious Art Of Battle Control System
The Art of Battle system is meant to give players complete control of their combat moves.
While "For Honor" release date is confirmed for Feb. 14 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, those still undecided had an opportunity to participate in the game's open beta, which kicked off Feb. 9 and closed on Feb. 12. The beta ran on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
While all sorts of speculations surrounding "For Honor" continue running rampant on the internet, a Redditor known as Lacront bumped into something quite different. Apparently, Lacront spotted what looked like a Mortal Kombat reference buried in one corner of a "For Honor" map.
The Reddit user ferreted out signs that pointed to Blaze's existence in the game. Blaze has made appearances in "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance," "Mortal Kombat: Armageddon" and "Mortal Kombat: Unchained." But that's not all, he has also made a slew of cameos and appearances in other franchise titles such as "Mortal Kombat X" and the other character along with Blaze is Hornbuckle.
Both Blaze and his opponent Hornbuckle are seen on the bridge, with Blaze on fire. This quickly brings the scene from the background of the Pit stage in "Mortal Kombat 2" to mind.
