Nokia seems to be having quite a good year as the Nokia 6 sold out within minutes of its launch. The company is aiming to take advantage of the momentum as it plans to release more devices this year and at least one of them is a flagship, the Nokia P1.
According to a report by wccftech, speculations have surfaced regarding the device's specs and rumored to sport a Carl Zeiss camera lenses and will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 under its hood. Other rumors suggests that the next flagship will have a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, 24MP rear camera, 64GB or 128GB internal storage and a microSD slot capable of supporting up to 256GB of space. The device is also rumored to be dust and water resistant and will run the Android Nougat 7.0 that makes it a complete package.
The device will also have a 3,500 mAh battery to support its powerful Snapdragon processor and an all-metal body.
Express.co cited that the Nokia P1 might be released by the end of the month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. There is no information about the device's price but it may very well be at the price range of other Android flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S7. That means a 128GB variant might cost around $779 and a 256GB version is a whopping $900.
These are only speculations and rumors, thus taking this information as concrete are not recommended. The MWC is just around the corner so fans of the Nokia smartphones will just have to wait for the official unveiling of the device.
