Square Enix's "Figureheads" will be released for the Playstation 4 in Japan. The free-to-play shooter game is currently only available for PC. The PS4 version of the game is scheduled to be released on March 9. The information is seen in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu.

"Figureheads" was initially released back in 2016 for Microsoft Windows PC. In a recently released trailer of the "Figureheads" PS4 version, players can see the "Figureheads" world. Here, robots, also called 2Foot, battle each other in a competition referred to as BOTgame.

What is referred to as "Figureheads" in the game are actually AIs that are installed in the 2Foots. The AIs can be customized and leveled up. The AIs appearance and clothes are customizable.

"Figureheads" PS4 will also be coming with a bunch of bonuses once it hits the Sony Playstation 4 game console. "Xenogear" themed items will be made available for those players who register early.

The three "Figureheads" weight class will receive different "Xenogear" themed items. The heavyweight will be getting Siebzehn, Brigandier for the middleweights while the lightweights will have Weltall.

The third person tactical shooter game's pre-registration will run for a month. The pre-registration begins on Feb.9 and will be live up until the "Figureheads" PS4 release date on March 9. Players who register during the pre-registration will also be getting 30 Gold upon registering.

Aside from the original game modes that are available in the "Figureheads" PC version, a new game mode is added in its PS4 release. "Figureheads" Playstation 4 will feature a player-versus-environment game mode. This game mode will allow players to battle against giant bosses.

"Figureheads" PS4 version will be released on March 9 in Japan. No release date for EU and NA has been announced. An EXP boost and BIT boost will be available during the first 30 days of the game.
