"Red Dead Redemption 2" may reveal more about itself in the coming days. Rockstar Games has yet to provide more information on this upcoming title and it somewhat anticipated to appear in one big event.
According to a Reddit post, pre-order cards are expected to go on sale by February 5, suggesting the possibility of a big announcement soon. Express noted that there are circulating speculations that suggest a new trailer could also be shown then, given that the Super Bowl also happens on the said date.
Another hunch says that the event will act as a stepping stone to finally announcing the release date or pre-orders going live. So far, "Red Dead Redemption 2" has been noted to have an autumn 2017 launch, while other leaks from retailers insinuate an October margin.
Various reports say that the game will surface then, with some saying October 2, while others expecting it by the month's end. Interestingly, October and November are two of the busiest months when it comes to video game launches, which seemingly validates the hints for the Rockstar Games sequel.
"Red Dead Redemption 2" banks on being the marker to end the "GTA V Online" title reign. The game is said to have more than one lead character, especially with an online mode also happening.
The original "Red Dead Redemption" was released over seven years back and gathered a massive following that triggered the sequel. Rockstar Games once teased "Red Dead Redemption 2" with a simple red logo, which gave out more than the reasonable impression that the game will come into apparent fruition. "Developed by the creators of 'Grand Theft Auto V' and 'Red Dead Redemption,' 'Red Dead Redemption 2' is an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland," the game's profile stated.
