"Rainbow Six: Siege" is getting a ton of new content via their next DLC wave and the update looks promising. The team over at Ubisoft has kept pretty quiet regarding "Operation Velvet Shell" but the silence has been broken with the reveal of Ryad Ramirez Al-Hassar, codenamed "Jackal". Jackat is the strongest and fiercest operator in "Rainbow Six: Siege" to date.
New Attack Operator: Jackal. According to Ubisoft's post, two SG.E.O (Grupo Especial de Operaciones) Operators join Team Rainbow in Operation Velvet Shell. Enter Ryad Ramirez Al-Hassar, a.k.a The Jackal. His specialty "lies in counter drug smuggling operations" and he comes equipped with the C7E and PDW9 as primary weapons. His secondaries are the ITA 12S and USP 40.
R6 scriptwriter Farah Brixi shared, "[I] underwent extensive survival courses, tactical desert navigation programs, and specialized combat diving courses to gain this edge." This badass follows attack operator Hibana from Siege's Operation Red Crow.
iDigital Times speculates that given the pattern and Jackal's primary weapons in "Rainbow Six Siege", he may be an attacker as well. Check out his video below:
New Free Map: Coastline. R6's new free map, "Coastline", is set in a resort in Ibiza, Spain. VG24/7 reports that it's designed to "drive a surround flow of combat for a final rush at its core," and will be available for free for both PvE and PvP. Check out the teaser trailer below:
