"Kingdom Hearts III" is still arriving on Xbox One and Square Enix has already corrected the error in their official webpage. The news came following reports that the upcoming title might be a PlayStation 4-exclusive because of the removal of Xbox One from the game's logo. However, it has been clarified that the only PlayStation 4-exclusive title for now is "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD: Final Chapter Prologue" and not "Kingdom Hearts III."
Speculations emerged that "Kingdom Hearts III" will not be playable on Xbox One because the previous logo of the game only showed PlayStation 4. This caught the attention of Square Enix and the Japanese game developer was quick to modify the game logo in order to include Xbox One, ICXM reported. Fortunately, everything is now clarified and players on the Microsoft console would still get the chance to enjoy the popular action role-playing title.
But what's waiting for players when "Kingdom Hearts III" comes out? As per recent reports, there might be a collaboration between Square Enix and Marvel as suggested by their tweets, which they posted at the same time, Mic reported. Though some may say that it was just a coincidence, the introduction of Marvel heroes in the game is a cool possibility because Marvel is a subsidiary of Disney, the distributor of the game.
So, does this mean that fans will soon see Iron Man and Captain America in their favorite video game? Well, Square Enix and Marvel have not confirmed that yet but players would soon know as both the companies have something to announce on Jan. 26. That said, players are advised to keep an eye on their official Twitter accounts to learn what's in store for "Kingdom Hearts III" fans.
