"Final Fantasy XV" will have a monster bestiary feature soon. In addition, plans on improving the text display in the games and even holding a photo contest are in the works.
Recently, Square Enix released the Moogle Chocobo Carnival event, as well as an auto-photography feature in Final Fantasy XV. However, the changes will not stop there as the team has more surprises in store for fans.
Monster Bestiary
"Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata has confirmed that future update will add a monster encyclopedia or a monster book. In an interview with Entertainment Section, the director was asked if there are plans for a monster encyclopedia, like an item that contains information of monsters' weakness, powers and dropped items, among others. He answered that there are plans but there are no other details revealed about when it will be included.
Photo Contest
Tabata was asked as well about plans of holding a campaign on a feature that allows gamers to share photos similar to a photo contest. He answered that there is a plan, as the team has received numerous requests from players.
He added that they are planning to work on a possible online photo contest. In the recent "Final Fantasy XV" update, a feature where players take pictures freely when not in the battle was included. The players, as long as they are not in fighting mode, can take their own pictures wherever and whenever they want, says IGN.
Font and Lay Out Adjustment
Another future improvement coming from the recent interview with the "Final Fantasy XV" director includes enlarging the font. When asked about this, Tabata said that the team would, in fact, make the font as large as possible in the current display area.
However, he said that it is difficult to change the layout quickly because it is compatible with many languages. He added that they will first maximize the visibility with the current lay out of the "Final Fantasy XV."
