For a franchise, "Tom Clancy" games could be one of the biggest. With over 50 titles, the franchise has different sub-series, with the first ones coming as early as the late 1980's. And while the game has evolved over time, it's still the same old action tactical game that everyone loves.
The last few "Tom Clancy" games had varying reviews from fans, especially since they were different from past titles. For example, "Rainbow Six Siege" was not really a fan-favorite at the beginning and a lot of fans were annoyed with the lack of a single player campaign, according to Thumbsticks. Nonetheless, it turned out rather well eventually.
On the other hand, "The Division" quickly went downhill. The game was highly anticipated by "Tom Clancy" and Ubisoft fans. However, it didn't seem to meet expectations.
What makes "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" different? With "Ghost Recon Wildlands," the MMO mechanics of "The Division" were taken away. "Ghost Recon Wildlands" is a third person shooter and an open world tactical game. It also has optional online elements but it's basically a single-player game.
The map of "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" will include various terrain: mountains, deserts, forests and salt flats are all present. Each one would, of course, have its own level of difficulty. There are also various vehicles that members can use to navigate through different places such as dune buggies and helicopters.
Being an open world game, players can explore the world of "Ghost Recon Wildlands" in between missions. They can even interact with other characters and build relationships, according to Video Games Republic.
