"Tales of Berseria" is the upcoming game title from Bandai Namco that is set to come out in the west later this week. Ahead of its launch, Namco released the trailer for fans of the "Tales" series.
Such titles included in the "Tales" series were popular games like "Tales of Phantasia," "Tales of Destiny," "Tales of Symphonia" and "Tales of Vesperia." The latest of these titles is the "Tales of Berseria."
According to Gemtasu, the game's description reads: "10 years ago, a Scarlet Night rose over Midgand and with it came the daemonblight. Famine, destruction and chaos reigned over the people. But then The Advent came and with it, a savior. It is Midgand's savior that Velvet vows to kill!" Sure enough, along with the description is the trailer of the game.
"Tales of Berseria" has already been released in Japan in August 2016. It will arrive in the West in January 24 for North America, January 27 for Europe and January 26 for the rest of the world. Fans of the series could expect some familiar elements to these games with the past titles. For example, fans can still interact with the Skits. Of course, the battle system would still be the same.
However, an important part of "Tales of Berseria" is shopping. To help with the journey, players should have stocks of healing items and better equipment. They can acquire these through shopping.
There are helpful tips that come with shopping in "Tales of Berseria." Basically, when it comes to consumable items, one could buy as many as you need and want, provided they have enough money. However, be careful with the equipment. Check back every now and then for better versions. Also, once a gamer has purchased the stocks of the store, it will take three battles for that shop to restock.
Shops in "Tales of Berseria" also have rankings and these will go up depending on how the players sell, buy and upgrade their items. Attack of the Fanboy listed down what the players can get from the shop's ranking, such as a discount percentage.
