Nintendo was previously reported to have opened up to third-party developers. That being said, both big and indie game developers now have a chance to showcase their games in one of the most unique consoles: Nintendo Switch. With the Switch's release looming closer, here are the confirmed indie games that fans can expect.

According to Indie Obscura, fans can play "Yooka-Laylee" on Nintendo Switch. This will be available for the console on April 11. It would be a month after the March release of the hybrid console."Yooka-Laylee" is from Playtonic Games and is a fun 3D platform game.

Up next is "Stardew Valley." Eric Barone's game was canceled for Wii U but the developer has promised his fans that he would be releasing the game for Nintendo Switch. According to GameSpot, "Stardew Valley" may look like a normal farming game in the surface. However, there await many adventures for players. As of this writing, there is still no specific date for its release on Nintendo Switch.

Another Nintendo Switch game fans can expect is "Seasons of Heaven." Any Arts Production has actually confirmed the game as Switch-exclusive.

"The Sacred Hero" can be a little secretive. There isn't much to know about it for now since the details are still vague. However, developer SiMPLiSTiC has confirmed its release on Nintendo Switch. Intrigued players will just have to wait for it to come out to know more.

Just like "The Sacred Hero," "Riverside" is also another game without much information. The only thing we know about it is that it's been confirmed for Nintendo Switch. However, the game apparently looks like an exploration adventure.

Developer Tequila Works has bought back the rights for "Rime" from Sony. This time, it is slated to release on Nintendo Switch, among other platforms. "Rime" will reportedly be available for the console in May.

For the Spring, fans of "The Binding of Isaac," which came out in 2011, would be overjoyed. "The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth" will also be available for Nintendo's latest console.

Other titles confirmed for Switch include "Has-Been Heroes" from Frozenbyte, out in March for Nintendo Switch, Yacht Club Games' "Shovel Knights," also set for March, "Terraria" by Re-Logic and racing game "Redout."
