"Overwatch" patch 1.7 will reportedly be released any time today (Jan. 24). Expected changes to come in the game with the introduction of patch 1.7 to "Overwatch" includes nerfing of Ana and D.Va, new skins for some of the characters, improvement in Roadhog's hook and a small change to Sombra's hack.

Bill Warnecke, lead software engineer of Blizzard, recently announced that they will be closing the "Overwatch" Public Test Realm for patch 1.7. Which can only mean that the new "Overwatch" patch 1.7 is ready to be released.

The patch 1.7 "Overwatch" is said to nerf both Ana and D.Va. In the case of Ana, her Biotic Grenada Burst Healing is significantly reduced by half. According to reports, Ana's Biotic Grenade creates a mismatch as it provides a huge amount of healing potential especially when targeted to friendlies that have high HPs. The buff and debuff of the said skill were however reduced to four seconds from the original five.

D.Va's armor will be reduced with the introduction of "Overwatch" patch 1.7. D.Va's original 400 armor is reduced to 200. Video game players suggest that D.Va's armor often gives the character an edge over other characters even against heroes that are said to be effective against bigger heroes. The damage of D.Va's guns is also reduced to two per bullet but patch 1.7 will increase the bullet numbers to 11 per shot from the original eight.

Roadhog's hog is made more consistent with the hero's line of sight in patch 1.7. Though an improvement has already been made with Roadhog's hook in the PTR, a lot of "Overwatch" players still feel that some improvements can still be done.

Patch 1.7 will also introduce to "Overwatch" the Year of the Rooster skins for Mei and D.Va. There are also speculations that Blizzard will also be releasing exciting new skins for other heroes such as Winston, Zenyatta, Reinhardt, Symmetra and Roadhog.
