There's hearsay that Sony might opt to skip their weekly announcement and divulge more details about their PlayStation Plus February 2017 lineup on Monday, Jan. 30 instead. Taking into consideration that Sony has been releasing the news on Wednesdays for the past few months, Jan. 25 seems ideal for the big announcement.

It's worth noting that PlayStation Plus free games all arrive simultaneously and usually include a couple of games each for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita platforms, according to Express.

PlayStation Plus January 2017 Lineup Include:

"Day of the Tentacle Remastered" for the PS4 and PS Vita

'Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy' PS4 Release Date

The "Crash Bandicoot" PS4 launch date for the highly anticipated N. Sane Trilogy has been subject to rumors and leaks, particularly surrounding the title's release date. The recently surfaced leak about "Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy's" release date; however, seems to be pointing in a different direction.

A Brazilian retailer had listed "The Crash Bandicoot" PS4 release date on its online store late last year. According to the listing, the highly-anticipated platformer video game compilation is scheduled to arrive on Feb. 28. The aforesaid date did not seem true to quite a few Crash fans with many pointing out that it would coincide with the launch of "Horizon: Zero Dawn."

The exact release date will be announced at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2017 which kicks off June 13 in Los Angeles, according to TrustedReview, The latest leak suggests Activision could show the game in full at this year's E3. This coincides with release dates predicted by two Czech Republic-based retailers that hint at June 30 as the title's release date.

Although this could be a mere placeholder, the release date does make a colossal difference. Debuting just two weeks after E3 would mean that the game could grab the top spot on the PS4 stage, just ahead of hitting the store shelves.
