Nokia P1 has been the center of many speculations in the smartphone world recently in the wake of Nokia 6 launching. Although not yet officially confirmed by the company, several have already predicted that Nokia P1 will be the iPhone of Androids, and perhaps these might be the reasons.
Nokia is coming back to smartphone production in partnership with the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Foxconn. The Nokia-Foxconn deal was announced in May 2016 through which Foxconn will manufacture Nokia's Android smartphones. A few months earlier, Foxconn also purchased Sharp, which may give a justifiable explanation as to why the image could be the same as the Sharp Aquos.
Display
Worket suggests that the Nokia P1 will be founded on the Sharp Aquos Xx3. It has been suggested that the Nokia P1 device will have a 5.3-inch IGZO display with some major technology breakthrough. Nokia P1 would have a refresh rate of 120Hz. If similar as the Sharp Aquos Xx3, the Nokia P1 device will either have Corning Gorilla Glass 4 or 5 up front and 1080 x 1920 pixels across it.
Mobile Processor
The Nokia P1 device is tipped to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. If fulfilled on Nokia P1, then it would be one of the first to use this new-for-2017 mobile processor. The Snapdragon 835 uses a Kryo 280 octacore CPU. This means it has four performance cores running at up to 2.45 GHz and four efficiency cores running at up to 1.9 GHz. In addition, it uses 25 percent lesser power. It has also software enhancements, which ensures that compatible apps run on the most efficient cores, reported Slash Gear.
Water Proof Feature
The Google Pixel holds IP35 for water resistance and dust-ingress, the Nokia P1 device is said to roll with either IP55 or IP57. With this feature, this device can withstand being dropped in the bath tub or taken out under the rain.
Camera
The Nokia P1 will reportedly comprise a massive 22.6-megapixel camera array of the Sharp Aquos Xx3. This connotes digital zoom, AF, OIS, and f/1.9, and 4K video recording. There is also a possibility of infusing it with the latest Sony image processor.
Possible Price
The Nokia P1 device will most likely be priced between $800 and $950. The potential flagship device of Nokia has so much storage and power inside and such high-end fixings around the outside that most likely it will be priced at that price range.
