Chris Pratt, the star of "Guardians of the Galaxy," will return to TV as a guest star on "Mom," a popular comedy series by CBS which stars Anna Faris, Pratt's wife.
This cameo by Pratt marks his return to TV since he starred in the show "Parks and Recreation" back in 2015. Pratt stated that being a guest star on his wife's TV show is the most fun he's had in a while, writes ET Online. He also added that it was really nice seeing his wife in a work environment.
According to International Business Times, Pratt will guest star in episode 11 of season four titled "Good Karma and the Big Weird." In this particular episode, we will see Anna Faris, who plays Christy, meet Pratt's character Nick, a handsome and charming horse trainer and nephew of Marjorie, played by Mimi Kennedy.
Christy is immediately attracted to Nick. However, Marjorie declares her nephew off-limits to her friends. Christy's mom Bonnie, played by Allison Janney, encourages her daughter to pursue Nick anyway. Nick will teach Christy to ride a horse; he will also sing a song for her and then kisses her.
The cameo is also a reunion between the real-life husband and wife as they have worked together before back in 2007, when they met each other on the set of "Take Me Home Tonight." Eventually they started dating. In addition, this will be Pratt's first time to perform in front of a live audience. The episode will air on January 19 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
