"The Division" survey released by Ubisoft hints regarding a "Last Man Standing" or "Battle Royale" game mode to be released for the multiplayer game. Prior to the release of the game last year, it gained a lot of hype. However, most gamers were disappointed when it was finally released. Despite that, the Ubisoft shared open world shooter still remains to be one of 2016's top multiplayer games due to its solid core. One of the future possibilities for the game is now finally revealed after a survey was sent out on Monday to its players.
A survey focusing on "The Division" Survival DLC which was released late 2016 by Ubisoft Massive indicates where the game is headed. Several standard questions were included from the frequency of players logged on to the game up to the improvement from recent DLC pack and then future expansions.
One of the Youtubers, Arekkz, provided a summary of the survey. Some of the questions specifically indicated different game modes ala Battle Royale and Last Man Standing. It was also noted in the said review that a similar feature to the "King of the Kill", one of H1Z1 spin-off which acquired a fanbase last year due to Twitch. While "The Division" promises to stay different, a similar concept of the match that will lead to only one player remaining would probably be the main component of the game.
Most of those who have thought about the idea through, the said mode will surely reinvigorate the fanbase of "The Division." The past months have been rough but Ubisoft got their players to come back to the game. However, it is also clear that a lot of work needs to be done. Since the release of "King of the Kill", it has been one of the most watched games on Twitch. This impending change might actually capture excitement for the game - more so, brand new players.
Lastly, the survey also asks what players for future expansions. Several choices were provided by Ubisoft - from continuing the story to a fresh, new location or a different era. "The Division" is currently out and released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
