Xbox One players should expect some changes in the home button of their consoles. Microsoft is ensuring its customers that the change in its home button will make navigating easier for players.

Home button update features

Tapping the Guide/Home Button will now direct players not only to the Xbox One home but also prompt the sidebar with a quick tap, Cinema Blend noted. The sidebar prompt allows users to play games, record footage and even voice chat with other players. Aside from these tasks, users can also change the game's DVR settings and access the AI app of Microsoft called Cortana through the sidebar.

Also, there will be a new streaming icon to take the place of the multi-tasking tab as per Window Central. This is expected to allow gamers to stream to Beam and Twitch instantly, as well as other services supported by Xbox. Players are anticipating the full integration of livestreaming service Beam on the Windows 10 and Xbox One.

A speedy and fast-responsive Xbox One is also assured by the new console update. Players should expect that their dashboard will already be fast and easy to navigate, thanks to this new introduction from Microsoft.

With the change in the home button, players can also easily navigate through the console's music feature as well as the Gamerscore tabs. It promises to make the Xbox One more user-friendly to make gaming a more fun experience for players.
