The first "Pokemon Sun and Moon" update has been released. While many gamers were expecting Game Freak to release the Pokemon Bank following the update, it turns out the update only addressed glitches reported in the game. Will the Pokemon Bank be made available during Battle Season 2?
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" update version 1.1 was recently released and the updates fixed the glitches observed during its launch in the Nintendo 3DS exclusives. According to Nintendo Insider, the update requires 296 blocks and serves to make the gameplay smoother and better.
One of the updates in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" update includes a fix in the glitch that caused battles to end when gamers users the Z-Parting Shot and the Z-Memento during Battle Spot. The update also allows Pokemon such as Confusion and Kadabra to learn moves even after they evolved.
Another update in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" version 1.1 involves Mimikyu wherein Pokemon were seen disappearing when the Red Card was held. The update also includes some alterations in the Battle Tree Pokemon and Battle Royal Pokemon.
Many gamers, however, wondered when will Game Freak release an update that allows the use of Pokemon Bank. As per iDigitalTimes, the Pokemon Bank is expected to be released in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" in January.
While the month still has not ended, the publication notes on the possibility that Game Freak will release the Pokemon Bank in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" during Battle Season 2. This will take place from Jan. 17 and will end in Mar. 19.
The publication notes that the Pokemon Bank in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will allow users to move their Gen 6 Pokemon to Alola. This will be a perfect opportunity for gamers to utilize their favorite Gen 1 and Gen 6 Pokemon during Battle Season 2.
