"Pokemon Sun and Moon" users will finally get their chance to move their favorite Pokemon to Alola using the Pokemon Bank. The company recently announced that this feature will be available as an update this January 2017. Which Pokemon should be stored in the bank?
Many "Pokemon Sun and Moon" users complained when the Alola did not feature some of their favorite Pokemon. Others also felt that it was hard to start from scratch and train Pokemon from the first level in order to play the game.
Now, The Pokemon Company will be releasing the Pokemon Bank update, which is designed to allow users to transfer their favorite Pokemon, reports iDigitalTimes. According to the publication, while trainers may be tempted to transfer all of their hard earned Pokemon to "Sun and Moon," they can only choose to keep a number of Pokemon, so users must choose wisely.
Users are advised to keep all of their shiny Pokemon and move them to "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Doing so will allow trainer to max out their individual values (IVs) through the game's feature called "Hyper Training System."
Starter Pokemon gained through other games possess hidden abilities, which may be unleashed and developed in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." The publication also notes on other essential Pokemon to keep in the bank such as Beartic, Mantine, Lunation and Solrock.
Meanwhile, Game Skinny notes on the release of the Pokemon Bank. According to the publication, The Pokemon Company announced that the update will be released in January 2017; however, there is no word yet from the company in regards to the exact release date of the update.
There are reports that the Pokemon Bank update for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be released during the Nintendo Switch event happening on Jan. 12. This will give trainers plenty of time to work on their decision as to which of their Pokemon will be moving to "Sun and Moon."
