"The Last Guardian" was officially launched before 2016 ended and it looks like gamers are hoping to see more from the game's director, Fumito Ueda. In a recent interview, the director talked about the possibility of doing a "Shadow of the Colossus" game in VR plus updates on the game's adaptation into the big screens.
Fumito Ueda is the brainchild behind the hit games, "Ico," "Shadow of the Colossus," and the recently released, "The Last Guardian." Since Ueda has established his very own studio, GenDesign, many fans are looking forward to his next creations.
In an interview with Glixel, Ueda explained that he has doubts on releasing a "Shadow of the Colossus" VR game. According to "The Last Guardian" director, many people complained about experiencing motion sickness when playing VR games.
"If I were to release 'Shadow of the Colossus' for PSVR, I would feel a responsibility to create something that goes beyond the expectations of the fan base," she said.
Ueda also went into detail about the creation of Trico in "The Last Guardian." According to him, his inspiration came from figures, videos of animals on YouTube, as well as his own pets at home while he was growing up.
Ueda also shared that he has been receiving mixed reviews on the emotional ending of "The Last Guardian." It can be recalled that the game, which is part of the trilogy, was recently released in 2016.
Many gamers were excited to play the game and get through The Nest easily. As Forbes reports, fans have even created a map of The Nest to help other fans get through the game.
According to the publication, "The Last Guardian" map also shows events within specific places in The Nest. This would help users determine their progress in the game.
