"Titanfall 2" saw its release across PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC platforms in October 2016. Months post-launch, Respawn Entertainment has now laid plans to provide more support for its first-person shooter to keep the fan's interest going with the arrival of DLC 2.
Apparently, there were fans who expressed their concern of receiving less support from the development team, considering that the title suffered poor sales. But it won't be the case as latest reports indicate the next update is in the offing.
Despite that the second content update doesn't have a release date as of yet, the game developer has already whet the appetite of gamers with what to get excited about the next DLC. So, here's a rundown of the new features and downloadable items to look forward to "Titanfall 2" DLC 2.
6v6 PVP Game Mode
One of the notable additions from the second content update for "Titanfall 2" is an all new game mode. Dubbed as "Live Fire", it is described as a 6v6 Pilots-only game mode. It does not feature a respawn either. Teams will compete and battle one another in the "best of five round" rule.
Stacks And Meadow Maps
Other than the new mode, Respawn will also introduce two new maps, expanding the world of "Titanfall 2". Both of these narrow maps will be utilized for the new mode and are known as "Stacks" and "Meadow". These maps are created to perfectly fit the gameplay for "Live Fire".
iTech Post reports that the game is currently at a fast pace but the developer plans to make more changes with the speed to please the gamers for intense hi-packed action adventure. These two new maps are intended to make the best out of close-quarter battles and will ultimately bring what the gamers have yearned for in the game.
Aside from the upcoming DLC 2 for "Titanfall 2", Respawn will also introduce a map known as "Columns", a brand new Coliseum map. However, at the time of this writing, information regarding this area is scarce.
