Recently, Bioware did confirm the actual release date for the third-person shooter game this week and fans can now patiently wait for it. March 21, 2017 will be the game's release date and the game title will be available to all gaming platforms like PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
However, according to Game Rant, there is chance that PC gamers can get the sci-fi game early from its officially announced release date. The publication reports that PC owners can have the chance to pre-load the game starting on March 17, 2017, four days earlier from the third-person shooter game's release date.
Apparently, when gamers place a pre-order from EA's Origin service, a page will pop up displaying that the game will become available for pre-load starting at 1:00 PM ET on March 17. However, there are no official reports from both Bioware and Electronic Arts that this can be true.
Still, there has been no statement regarding that PC gamers can really pre-load the space exploration game early on the said date, there has been confirmation that EA Access members can play the game earlier than others. However, game developers have not yet stated of exactly how big of a portion EA Access members can explore in the said game.
Meanwhile in an unsurprising note, Bioware GM Aaryn Flynn confirms in responding to a Twitter querr that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will not have a season pass, similar to the previous trilogy. Although, Bioware did release a number of memorable expansion sets to the original "Mass Effect" games, publisher Electronic Arts didn't offer any season pass. Instead, Bioware went with a mix of free and paid add-ons that either came with a game or were sold as standalone items.
In a follow-up tweet, Flynn hinted that Bioware has plans for the RPG's DLC with statement at the bottom that reads, "we'll talk more about that later." "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is slated to be released on March 21, 2017 to all gaming platforms.
