"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is set for release on March 21 and Bioware confirmed that the development team is has been working hard on the game's day-one patch. On Friday, the game went gold, which means that the studio is finished with its initial development.

DualShockers reports that BioWare's Lead Designer Ian Frazier confirmed via Twitter that a ‘good portion' of the development team is currently working on the patch and this should be all good once "Mass Effect: Andromeda" releases for EA Access and Origin Access, at least five days before the game arrives. Producer Michael Gamble has warned that there has been no final setting at this time and this means that things can change before the game's release.

According to GameSpot, BioWare has also confirmed the file size of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is around 45 but not over 60 GB and 55 GB on PC. Moreover, the game there will be no DLC Pass for the game but BioWare will continue to support with additional content in the near future.

A multiplayer beta is also expected to release before the official launch of the game. Furthermore, the profile/favorite systems function the same on consoles and PC but if fans would play with keyboard and mouse, they will be able to assign at least four favorites to hotkeys.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have a New Game+ right after the title is finished and there will be more casual outfits available on the Tempest compared to the pre-order hoodie as well as the one that's featured in the trailer. Frazier explained that the Warp biotic power will not be present in the game as it overlapped too much with other powers as the team wants everything in the game to have a unique role.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 21 in North America and on March 23 in Europe. Stay tuned for more updates.
