Rockstar Games marked its arrival into 2017 by rolling out a brand new adversary mode dubbed, Vehicle Vendetta for the huge fanbase of "GTA 5 Online." Multiple reports are now suggesting that the game developer is gearing up to give away extra in-game cash in-mode. If that's not good enough, some modders have added the Liberty City map to the hit action-adventure video game.

What's New In 'Grand Theft Auto Online'

There's word floating around that Vehicle Vendetta unlocks the new Pegassi FCR 1000 motorbike. Aside from that, the new mode boasts an array of power-ups including vehicle transformations, rockets, guns and bombs. It is worth noting that Beast now transforms players into the Rhino Tank, and Detonators may clear away obstacles from the arena.

But that's not all. The bonuses and discounts available for "Grand Theft Auto Online" players which started Jan. 3 are likely to continue until Jan. 16. Note that the game developer has added considerable 25 percent more in-game cash on Vehicle Exports,.But slashed off a whopping 50 percent from the Grenade and 25 percent off on Special Cargo Warehouses, Gaming Central reported.

In addition, "Grand Theft Auto Online" players may be able to get their hands on all masks with a 25 percent reduction in cost. This remains constant for each engine performance upgrades, throwables, ammo and body armor as well as explosive weapon ammo.

Meanwhile, "GTA 5" modders are reportedly hard at work on a Liberty City recreation from "GTA IV" to the Los Santos area, according to Express. It can be recalled that Rockstar Games spilled the beans about a story DLC that was reportedly in the work at the time. As expected, this stirred conversations among avid "GTA" fans that took note of Liberty City.

If earlier reports are anything to go by, the modding team known as OpenIV have been working on the new map since "GTA 5" was first released. OpenIV reportedly plans to add Liberty City without affecting the whole map. The city may be located across the ocean from Los Santos.

There is no release date associated with the Liberty City mod at the moment; however, the "GTA 5" modders are likely to shed more light on the new map in near future.
