Still riding high on the success of "GTA 5 Online," it looks like Rockstar Games is in no mood to deviate its attention from its cash cow. In fact, the game developer is leaving no stone unturned in their bid to keep the players glued to the hit action-adventure video game. In line with this, Rockstar Games seems to also have a lot of surprises in store for loyal "GTA" fans this year.
Previous reports indicated that Rockstar Games will start wrapping up its support for "GTA 5 Online" in spring 2017. On the contrary, it looks like the team behind the hit title has a change in plan.
Apparently, new downloadable contents (DLC) are slated to be rolled out for the game. The upcoming DLCs will comprise brand new Hunting features scheduled to be unlocked in near future and new Police Mission functionality.
It is imperative for the studio to come out with a nearly flawless DLC this time. That is in the wake of the negative response garnered on various GTA community sites on its last rolled out content dubbed "Import/Export".
But much to their relief, a recent poll conducted by GTA 5 Cheats asking players what according to them was the best content update released for "GTA 5" in 2016. Result showed that "Import/Export" DLC turned out to be everyone's favorite with 44.06 % votes in favor of the latest content for the game.
Earlier reports suggest Freemode of the game will also receive Police-connected missions this year. However, there's no official confirmation from Rockstar Games about this yet.
Bearing in mind that "GTA 5 Online" won a couple of Steam Awards, it seems quite a logical decision on Rockstar Games' part to not cease its support for the game. But that's not all. There are about three more cars slated to arrive once a week toward Valentine's Day from the "Import/Export" DLC, according to Express.
Rockstar Games has been hard at work on a slew of vehicles that are slated to arrive in the game, including Nero Custom, Truffade Nero, Dewbauchee Specter, the Progen ItaliGTB and Custom, the FCR Biker and Custom variant and the Comet Retro Custom.
Moreover, citing the huge success of "GTA 5 Online," there is a possibility that Rockstar could reconsider their "GTA 5 Story" DLC plans.
